Those I know who are on the right, tend to shy away from posting political stuff because of all the hate and vitriol from those on the left (even within my own family).

Ayup. I even went so far as to take my small New Mexico Shooting Sports Association (NMSSA) and NRA stickers off the back of my car, along with another that was a mash-up of a flintlock hammer, and AR-15 trigger group.

Too many nutbags around for me to want to deal with them, and I like my tires fully inflated and my paint undamaged (well, as much as possible). It tends to be mostly (only?) one side that does damage to personal property.
