...In his campaign trail, Duterte had promised to eradicate criminality by focusing on corruption and illegal drugs.

He even promised to kill thousands of criminals engaged in such activities and dump their bodies in Manila Bay.

Early in office, he said what was left from his campaign funds will be used as reward to those who will kill or catch drug pushers.

Popularly known as “The Punisher,” Duterte was once accused of being on top of the Davao Death Squad, a vigilante group responsible for the deaths of more than a thousand suspected criminals in Davao City where Duterte served as mayor for more than 20 years.

We should do it here. Vigilante groups can start by executing all the drug-dealing biker gang members and throwing their bodies into pits of quicklime.

I’ve never seen a biker gang in my life.

I’ve seen mobsters, Crips, Latin Kings and a few others involved in narcotics but never bikers.

I guess NYC is the best place to trail blaze on bikes :)

“I’ve never seen a biker gang in my life.”
40 years ago, when I lived in Milwaukee, and was a “smoker,” I got to kow a couple of guys in the big biker gang, the prez and his #2. We got along great, but they were definitely criminals. But we had fun! They taught me to ride a stick shift Harley! That was a blast!

lol!!

Gangsters of all kinds can be a lot of fun.

I had gangster (mafia) friends many times through the years. They had money so they treated for a lot of stuff. What they did was their business.

It was “dont ask, dont tell”, probably like your situations :)

He’s been in office 24 days, and somehow there’s already a drop in crime? Huh... You’d think you’d have to wait at least for monthly reports from each municipality... and then some time to compile and compare reports. In the US, that takes about three months and only gets done on an annual basis.

“544 drug dealers or suspects have been killed since Rodrigo Duterte was elected”

Well, right there you’ve got 544 murders in about three and a half weeks. He’d have to cut the murder rate by a third just to keep up with these murders!

Yeah, criminals are such great guys. Take for example this Hells Angels member, who tortured and eviscerated three people he didn't like. One of them was handicapped.

They don’t really keep stats on crime in the Philippines beyond murder. The media is terrified of the guy so expect them to parrot what he wants.

Wait... there’s only 5,000 murders per year in the Philippines.

That’s about 400 per month.

This report is citing 544 murders of alleged criminals in three and a half weeks. That means that if no other murders took place, there would still be a surge of more than 50% in the number of murders!

You may be fascistic enough to approve of such murders, but in no way does that mean murders are down!

Do know what the #1 to deter crime? Make people certain they will be caught. Now that they’ve relaxed the laws that certainly of being punished is rising quickly and the crime will fall accordingly.

Nah, Obama ain't gonna be running around with a gun. Give it to the common man. You know, the guy who lost his son to drugs.
