I am starting to believe that the Christian left will not only be left behind, but be given over to the deception during the Tribulation since they really do not believe in the truth?

I am beginning to feel the same way.

I also am beginning to wonder if those who are not looking for Christ, and in fact are actively opposing those who are waiting for the Blessed Hope (Titus 2:13), are going to be left behind. I know that may sound harsh, but I am starting to wonder.

I read the parable of the wise and foolish virgins, and I am trying to come to grips with what Jesus meant to convey.

However the Church has no doctrine on the Jewish State of Israel --- there simply isn't one --- and you can't construe otherwise from Vatican foreign policy.

Just because it isn't in a Vatican document or "magisterium" doesn't mean the Vatican can throw rocks at Israel and oppose what God says about Israel, and expect to get away with it.

God will not tolerate that two faced deception. He knows all, He sees all, and he knows hearts.

It is obvious that the current Pope and Vatican oppose Israel. They want to divide their land, disarm them, and undermine the Jewish people. This very week Francis called for Isreal to be disarmed of her nuclear weapons. Every action, every statement, every alliance with Israel's enemies screams the truth that the Catholic church (currently) is in opposition to the Jews and to Israel.

Joel 3 and Zechariah 12:2 are but two places in Scripture where God gives warning concerning Israel.

I support Israel for what I consider to be very good reasons, but I am not obliged to subscribe to one, singular, political theory concerning Israel. I do not personally think that a secular, social-democratic, non-Torah-compliant state is what we have in mind when we refer to the Israel of prophecy.

There are many that are deceived by a “church” of this world.

I watch, in horror, as “churches” are siding with dividing Israel. When the Antichrist and the False Prophet are officially ensconced, some may realize their error.

These things shall come, obviously. We are definitely getting closer to them.

I have never seen so many “churches” endorse antichrist doctrine; what with their favorite politician.

Most all are on board with dividing Israel for “peace”. They are blissfully ignorant of what the Scripture teaches in these areas.

Agreed. It reminds me that when the Antichrist declares his 7 year “peace” treaty with Israel, the world will rejoice. Until, that is, the wrath the Tribulation his them - wave, after wave, after wave. Each worse than the plague before.

Israel will always be God’s Chosen People. No matter what they do.

True, they are a stubborn brood, but He promises them not only redemption and restoration but also dominance over the world (future).

Anybody who aligns against them politically isn’t doing themselves any favors.

I always thought that parable had to do with those believers during the Tribulation. With the Age of Grace ending, folks will have to resort to works plus faith based salvation again.

The modern state is not the same as the historical tribe; I think the gay parades illustrate that.

As a Christian I accept Christ’s teaching that the only way to His Father is through Him; it is a direct quote.

Interesting ... the five who were busying themselves ‘working for oil to put int heir lamps, well they will be the Tribulation workers too. The aspect of oil in the lamp though is an analogy to The Holy Spirit within the human spirit. Think the Holy Place with the golden lampstand and the oil for light therefrom.

Things are about to change regarding the modern state.
Genesis 12:2-3 is as valid yesterday as it is today.
Genesis 27:29 and Numbers 24:9 mirror those verses.

I have a hard time believing anybody who claims Christ is the Way to the Father can also be Anti-Jew & Anti-Israel.

Those are two conflicting spirits. Like saying you’re a vegan as you bite into that Ham sandwich.
