If Trump flips Pennsylvania, all bets are off
Washington Times ^ | July 29, 2016 | Kelly Riddell

No state is more important to Donald Trump’s chances of winning the White House than Pennsylvania, and — unlike any Republican presidential in the past 20 years — he actually has a chance to win it.

In the Scranton-Wilkes Barre section of the state — up Interstate 81 in the northeast part — Mr. Trump is so popular that businesses are actually advertising their support of his candidacy.

“WTH has happened to CO over the past 30 years?

Have the porn pervs of the 70’s taken up residence there?
Or has it become overrun with illegals?”

Yes.

Same with New Mexico.

Philadelphia is the key. Their vote fraud machine needs to be beat elsewhere in the state.

“The young detest both candidates, likely they will go for libertarian or green party, or stay home”

Then you have the worthless POS Cruzbots like Glenn Beck who has a radio show for the sole purpose to bash and make fun of Trump the entire 3 hour broadcast. Every day, and it never ends. If this SOB is not an arm of the democrat party I don’t know who is. Yesterday after the DNC was finally over and the bitch from hell was crowned, Jack Tapper told his panel of Trump haters about all the “republicans” who were supporting Clinton and how this was unheard of in years past. He mentioned Beck as having nothing good to say about Trump and specifically mentioned a tweet from the lardass “conservative” Johan Goldberg, who said in the tweet that the DNC was all about love of country and the RNC was all about love of Trump!! Which was just the opposite of the conventions. The RNC was about love of America and bringing America back to the greatness she once had. The DNC was all about liberal policies and BLM. The only reason cops and the military were mentioned on the last day was because Trump had shamed them in acknowledging them. So the Becks, and the Goldbergs, and that worthless ass Stephen Hayes from Fox are working full time to get Hillary Clinton elected.

I have family who are hardcore D’s. I mean hardcore, but recently at a party there were all in for Trump. I COULDNT believe it. If these folks are in for Trump he actually may pull this off in PA, but l’ll believe it when I see it Philly controls this state in a statewide race

I think Trump is picking up some remnants from the Former Reagan Coalition. He's going further into the Black vote than Reagan ever did. He's got far more Black support than any Republican I have seen before.

Trump is going to win. I think Hillary may have a stroke.

I hope he throws that evil witch in Prison for the rest of her life, and then starts prosecuting her corrupt Husband too.

“What have these people been listening to to think that Hillary is the answer to anything?”

My experience is that it is blind hatred for any and all things “Republican” and not necessarily the Democrat candidate or what they stand for.

It basically paraphrases what Golda Meir said about the Palestinian’s hatred for Jews.

LOL, That’s a riot.

It encapsulates exactly what is wrong with Democrats and Democracy. It is an awesome article. :)

It’s not just coal and the long gone steel industry. It’s FRACING! The industries that support it (specialty steel, pipe making, fitting, transport, well site employees, CDL drivers and heavy equipment operators.)

SW Pa is the Saudi Arabia of natural gas. Ohio is the SA OF oil! In BOTH states DJT has to push the JOBS and energy independence fracing brings.

Wolf, and greenies want to outlaw new fracing like they have done in southern NY. That hasn’t worked so good there.

Same with WV but stress what the Democrats have done to coal! DJT must say he’ll roll that back and support fracing there too!

And finally, even tho it’s symbolic, say he will sign the Keystone XL his first day in office.

There is a lot of truth in that.

Not passing congressional district EV’s was the biggest blunder the PA house, senate and Corbett made, bar none!

Ooops....forgot signage. I’m in Westmoreland County, have not seen a Bernie or Hillary, but DOZENS (some handlpainted) of Trump signs. Some on US 30 (at businesses); many in yards; and the most are along PA136. YUGE handlpainted, billboard size signs, and many in yards.

My neighborhood, probably 15 or so have yard signs.

You are making excellent points.

I am sure Trump will be making those points and people will listen and vote for jobs, not for Hillary’s job-killing policies.

The answer is very depressing. Our country has tens of millions of voters who have absolutely no critical thinking skills, and these voters are indoctrinated every single day by academia and the news and entertainment media to support the Socialist ideology of the Democrats.

If The Donald isn’t afraid of the media, why would he not take on the famous vote fraud machines of PA???

I agree Trump takes PA comfortably... As well as OH, MI, IN and Wi.

I suspect he’ll get NJ as well as other New England states no one wants honestly consider.

I believe Trump can win NY, will he?? Not sure but it will definitely be “in play”. Meaning Dems will have to expend money and energy there trying to hold it, diverting it from other places allowing Trump to compete and win other states even if he doesn’t pull of the NY upset.

Honestly I don’t see how anyone in NY other than folks who just blindly vote D without any consideration would pick a carpetbagger like Hillary over a native son like Trump... I know some will, and no way he will win NYC outright, but if he can just come out of NYC without being utterly overwhelmed, he’ll win the rest of the state handily and may be able to pull off the win. Will it happen? Not sure.. But lastest pill has Trump down 12 but that is pre convention and trend has been in Trumps favor. I think in NY especially Trump likely has some major reverse Bradley effect going on.. So is likely 5-7 points higher than he is polling.

I believe without question NY is in play and Trump could take it... But even if he comes up short the fact he is going to actually fight for it means Hillary et al will have to spend time and resource there that in other elections would be free to be spent elsewhere.

Agreed. The neverTrumpers on the right infuriate me like no other. Never fails in a Trump article (pro or con) two or three (sometimes more) are always lurking such as on Breitbart, Spectator or American Thinker and they immediately you can tell are screaming at their screens some combination of trumpanzee, orange, cheetoh, cheater, bankruptcy, etc etc etc.

I usually reply if they would’ve had this much anger and intensity in 2008 and 2012 we might not have had Obama for the last 8 years. This statement is usually replied to with another insult such as trumpkin or trumpanzee.

To be honest not much has surprised me this election season like it apparently has many people. All the rats who were RINO’s are getting flushed out (though some like Erik Ericskon have surprised me), the dems melt down with the expected insults of Trump and on and on.

But one thing that has stunned me has been the rise of the neverTrumper nonvoters on the right (I’m never ever never going to vote for the vulgarian Trump etc). Not the celebrity or high profile elites like Bill Kristol as they were the problem but among the ranks of everyday voters again on the right. I see and hear an almost deranged hatred that I’ve never seen conservative voters ever have for a democrat. It has been truly astounding.

I could see the RINO elite’s hatred of Trump but the intensity, persistence and amount (though hopefully not too large) of these actual voters (and most seem to be actual conservatives, not leftist trolls) has been quite a shocking experience.

Agreed. Much as others have shown the repeated gop disapppointment of PA another related pattern is how everyone bemoans the Philadelphia vote fraud that is as much a part of every POTUS election as the MSM bias.

If everyone knows it happens (which it probably does) and is expecting it every election, why don’t the gop candidates (including staffs, supporters, etc.) ever do anything about it?

Such as have groups at the Philly polling stations such as Bikers for Trump as where the Black Panthers are with multiple cameras ready to record when the MSM accuses only the gop of voter intimidation. Such as immediately filing court and other challenges when certain precints show voter turnout at close to or even over 100% and other strategies.

I know it’s much easier said than done but I’ve already seen just today on freerepublic dozens of people concerned about the Philly vote fraud and it just seem ridiculous that no one seems to do anything to at least minimize the amount of it when we all know and expect it.
