If I'm not mistaken, CNN did a poll immediately following Trump's speech last week, which by the way showed that people who watched the speech viewed it very favorably.
So my question, where is the poll for Hillary's speech? Are the CNN pollsters on vacation this week or maybe they decided they need to give the public a day or two to soak up the Hillary love fest in the MSM before polling them?
I think it's safe to say, if the results were good they would have been published.
Great headline! Normally it’s PPV, but this was on free TV!
“Did you notice how quick the dark theme appeared as well for Trump? What Im seeing in the Press is a mixed bag of commentary so it cant have been very good even from these mouthpieces of the Democratic Party.”
I agree with this. I’ve read a mixed bag of reviews today, even from the reliable MSM mouthpieces. I think the overall consensus was that the speak was OK at best, definitely not the same caliber as Trump’s.
I guess we all need to play the hand we’re dealt and well...HRC just has a really bad hand.
Was there any doubt that they would say she is more popular than Trump??

The CNN pollsters stayed up too late last night to do their jobs. They were with Wolf Blitzer and the CNN crew drinking, dancing, partying and celebrating the nomination and speech of their beloved Wicked Witch of the Left, Hillary Rotten Clitoris.
No matter, when they do do a poll, expect it to show a bigger bounce than Trump's because he's the bad guy.
Good point
So the key number, which of course most of the news articles don’t focus on...
How many people say the speech will make them more likely to vote for the candidate:
Trump - 56%
Hillary - 60%
Pretty close, I guess we’ll have to wait until next week to see if the convention actually moves the national polls.

And one thing we can all do now, and every morning -is call in to C-span and if it's busy, keep trying. When you get through and your name and/or city is called out - mention freerepublic.com and say some good words about Trump and why he's the best choice. From 1999-2001 I was constantly calling C-span and after redialing a couple times, I was easily able to get through dozens of times in those two years.
And unlike back in those early days, there are now no long distance charges. You can call while having coffee, while sitting in your backyard, while watching tv, while walking down the sidewalk, etc.
If enough fr members call Cspan in the mornings, many of us should easily be able to get through.
And like Travis has stated "...we have to do what we can --------while we can!" :)
The msm can’t bring themselves to admit how much she bombed.
Freeped. 52.15% unsuccessful, 47.85% successful.
You’re conflatng pro-Trump with conservative. RedState is an anti-Trump, conservatve web site. Definitely hostile territory if you are a Trump supporter.
Of course, there are a ton of caveats that go along with any of these polls as CNNs David Chalian notes, the people who tuned in to Hillarys speech tend to overwhelmingly be Democrat or Democrat leaners, just like the people who tuned in to Trumps speech tend to overwhelmingly be Trump or Trump leaners.

Pproblem with this is that both polls Trump and Clinton’s were taken by CNN of their viewers only and one can easily make the case that those who watch Donald Trump speech in a great majority would have watched it on either Fox News channel or Fox Business Channel and so that leaves us with the notion that on both evenings both Trump and Hillary speeches on CNN were watched in the main by democrats And yet when you get all done looking at the poll numbers it’s only about a 5% difference in those who approved of the speech.
TV viewership:”Brian Stelter ;@brianstelter · 4m4 minutes ago
6 biggest channels combined had 28 mil viewers for Clinton speech vs 30 mil for Trump speech last week. Looks like a Trump win. More TKTK”
Life is too short to waste it watching the Democrat Convention.
Especially when there are bad shark movies on SyFy.
her speech put the pollsters to sleep
they will do their polling when, and if, they wake up
You missed the most important question in that poll. it was down at the bottom of the original release. The question asked was what were your favorable opinion of Hillary Clinton before the speech verses after the speech. The answers were before the speech she was viewed favorably by about 71% of those who took the poll and afterwards she was viewed favorably by about 76% of those who took the poll.
How does that square with the current unfavorables of Hillary Clinton which are approaching or at 70%.
Clinton’s unfavorables of almost 70%. It is obvious that this poll was taken among Democrats only.
Conclusion of the piece - “Clinton, it appears, got a larger audience, and made a better impression, with her convention speech.”
Wolf said the analysis was from the CNN flash poll, but didn’t provide a link source.
Other article said the tv viewing was less than Trump’s, so I don’t know how Hillary got ‘a larger audience’, and taking the views from CNN pundits, Wolf concluded Hillary ‘made a better impression’.
Now you know who’s who on our side, or just pretend to be on our side.
Hillary put them to sleep too.
