When is Hillary Clinton going to hold that long-awaited news conference — the first of 2016? Whenever she feels like it.
This has always been true, of course. The media can't force her into one. But the Democratic presidential nominee's campaign hasn't been quite so blunt about it.
Until now.
"We'll have a press conference when we want to have a press conference," Clinton pollster Joel Benenson said on ABC News on Thursday evening.

she is smart to avoid public appearances ... she is not well versed in major issues ....and also her voice is Poison and most people turn it off anyway
she does better in the polls when the public does not remember what she looks or sounds like

She’s afraid of being asked questions about email and the FBI report and all of that.
Some have speculated that she will decline to debate Trump, for similar reasons, that unscripted difficult questions can come up, and she doesn’t want to have to answer questions about email or the FBI investigation which resulted in no recommendation of prosecution.
She wants to sell us liberal pablum, not talk about substantive questions that can come up in a press conference.
They mock the media because she has them in her (ample) back pocket.
I’m glad I’m not the only one. I can’t stand the sound of her voice, whether it’s calm or screechy/shouting, I just have a terrible reaction to her voice.
And the fact that she speaks in liberal platitudes just magnifies my revulsion to hearing her speak.
This needs to be something that Trump needles her about. If I was his team, I would start setting up a Press Q&A every week, and start numbering them. Like “On Thursday, August 4th, Mr. Trump will hold Press Conference #15 of 2016”
At the open, he could even repeat it. “Thank you all. I will now start taking questions for my 15th Press Conference of the year. I can’t wait until Secretary Clinton holds her first one of the year. What about you?”
Trump should hold a press conference every day until Hillary finally gives one. Make it like Nightline in 1979-80 during the Hostage Crisis....Day 404 since Hillarys last presser!
NO, Clintonistas, you cannot be allowed to operate this way. They need to be hammered for this and hammered hard. Shrillary is ducking the press, avoiding the spontaneity of fielding critical questions from assorted reporters. She needs to be shamed into facing the media, and Republicans should create a meme of Hillary being afraid of the press, robotic, incapable of answering spontaneously... bc it’s true!

She does better as a generic female liberal candidate than as herself, haha. She will try to tightly control access all the way until Nov. 8. She needs to be pressured and humiliated unless/until she opens up to our great democratic nation.

and she often doesn’t know good answers, she is pretty weak on issues (especially foreign policy and defense, but lots of stuff actually)
so she really is SMART to avoid publi appearances as much as possible, and especially avoid situations where anyone is asking her any questions
Unless there is major MAJOR fraud, I don't see how she makes it into office.
