Bradley Cooper's appearance at the Democratic National Convention Wednesday night has irked some conservative fans of the actor's portrayal of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle in 2014's "American Sniper."
Cooper was spotted by TV cameras seated at the meeting in Philadelphia alongside his Russian model girlfriend, Irina Shayk.
Some Twitter users say they plan to boycott Cooper's future films over his presence at the convention. Another commented that they thought his experience playing Kyle would have rubbed off on him.

Exactly. There is NO PLACE for “idol” or celebrity worship, especially in these times. The stakes are way too high. This includes political & public figures we’d like to think we can trust (Roberts et al).
People don’t understand that it was just a job that got his name on the marquee. Nothing more. It’s called acting. Has nothing to do with his personal beliefs.
