White House Watch: Clinton 43%, Trump 42%
Rasmussen Reports ^ | 7/28/16 | Rasmussen Reports

Posted on 07/28/2016 9:02:55 AM PDT by Angels27

Apparently conventions don’t mean much. The major party nominees remain deadlocked in our latest weekly White House Watch survey.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone and online survey finds Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton with 43% support to Republican nominee Donald Trump’s 42%. Ten percent (10%) like some other candidate, while four percent (4%) remain undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

This is a reversal from last week when Trump had an equally insignificant 43% to 42% lead. This is, however, the first time Clinton has edged ahead of Trump in a month. The race has been neck-and-neck in Rasmussen Reports surveying since last October. (More below)

It's July -- and people with lives and families tend to be away on vacation or at least at the beach. People without lives and whose favored activities require staying at home with the blinds drawn are at home to answer the phone. So I won't give much weight to polls until the week after Labor Day.

The LA Times poll is interesting (and the methodology may work around the summer vacation problem, since the poll seems to follow the group around) and of course even this early I'd rather see Trump even than 10 points behind.

“Even half of Democrats hate her.”

All Democrats still worship her racist bigot former boss, who tells them to vote for her....

Do you have a subscription? I couldn’t find internals available to the general public.

And, no, Cankles does not lead by 5 with indies. EVERY poll has her losing, most big.

don’t worry, after the convention all the networks will be reporting a 20 point surge for Hillary.

BTW, Rasmussen has not been a very accurate poll since before McCain/Obama, I’m not sure why they still have some sort of credence. Maybe because they get it right “sometimes”? I would guess they probably bat about 50/50, in which case one could flip a coin and get the same results.

Warning -

Scott Rasmussen has NO association with this Polling company anymore .

Scott SOLD this firm to a WSJ firm and cut off all association to this company that bears his name in a hostile situation .

He sold it in 2013 !!!!

So buyer beware now !

I think what will really turn the tide is how many voting machines the rats can fix along with the dead voters.

clinton will refuse to debate the racist homophobe islamaphobe misogynist espionage enabling xenophobic hispanic, handicap and black hating mean bigot bully on account that she is above such vile things.

Her sycophantic enablers will wildly applaud her..

...he can change that perception, especially if he does well in the debates.

He should declare the first debate to be about the Global Warming Fraud. Whatever facts he's not aware of now are easily obtainable.

My bet is that she will refuse to debate that issue. And he can hop on that and rub it in.

Any “debates” will be like this:

“Mrs. Clinton, how do you like being a grandmother?”

“Mr. Trump, what do you have to say for your self about reports you kill puppys and beat your wife and girlfriends?”

That will be the extent of the questions.

Larry: No internals, just found this snippet in their narrative.

Trump still has stronger support among voters in his own party (86%) than Clinton does among Democrats (79%). But this week Clinton has taken a five-point lead among voters not affiliated with either major party.

He is at 86% among GOP, which is pretty good, still a little room for growth.

“In the end, I think the debates are really going make the difference in this election.”

If that is correct, it doesn’t speak too well of the electorate.

He’ll be over 90% by the time this is over. Lots of people are coming around to Trump.

THIS should help!
8 minutes of VIDEO DYNAMITE from Dick Morris who was on the DARK SIDE with the Clintons during their rise. Line by line, Dick DISMANTLES Bill Clinton’s fawning and fraudulent DNC Wednesday speech in support of the serial liar to whom he is wed.
IT’S ALL ABOUT THE POWER AND MONEY!!!
Please watch the entire 8 minutes then share the hell out of this thing. THIS CRIME FAMILY MUST NEVER AGAIN INFEST THE WHITE HOUSE!

It’s not surprising that Hillary would be getting a bit of a bump from her convention (the poll was conducted through yesterday). I’m sure Rassmussen would have still showed Trump ahead if he stopped before the Dem convention began. I had already braced myself for this. Fawning press coverage, continual pandering, and lie after lie do unfortunately have their effect.

In the first debate, instead of attacking her, my hope is that DJT will defer to her as if she is mentally and physically ill and not capable of leading our Nation. She is all of that.

What he will do is control the discourse.

Yeah yeah, right after her first spirited reply to a question, Trump should ask her is she's alright and offer to get her a chair............
