So far, only Newt, Giuliani and Krauthammer (reluctantly, as usual) seem to “get” that. Even Pence didn't get it! Based on Trump's response this morning, I'm not even sure that Donald really fully understands what he accomplished.

One thing for sure; few, if any, of the talking heads on Fox News or Fox Business understand the totality of the revelation; nor do they comprehend that the Russians can't be “invited” to hack into a server or steal e-mails that Hillary and her lawyers “wiped clean”/destroyed many months ago! The Russians can only be asked to produce what they, and other foreign Intel services, almost certainly pilfered well over a year ago via Hillary's (now defunct) unsecured server.

At a news conference, Trump said he hoped that Russia would find emails deleted by Hillary Clinton from her time as secretary of state. He said: “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing.” He said that in the context of repeated questions ( actually accusations) from the press that Russia hacked the DNC. What he said was if they hacked the DNC then they probably hacked Hillary’s email server and if they had the emails, they should turn them over. He and the rest of us would like to see them. That is hardly “ a threat to the Republic” Cicilline, you are an absolute fuckwit. If Hillary’s emails contained nothing but yoga routines and plans for Chelsea’s wedding (30,000 worth), then no risk to our security exists, right? You didn’t just drink the Obama-Clinton FoolAid(c), you snorted it straight from the envelope.
