Democrats put in plenty of good words for Hillary Clinton during their convention yesterday but they focused most of their energy on trying to assassinate the character of Donald Trump.

The Left is now going after the Republican nominee with brass knuckles. The latest Democrat attack line accuses Trump of committing treason for asking Russia or any other governments that may have Clinton's mountain of missing emails in their possession to return them to the United States.

The Democrats are scared of Trump.

The entire Democrat Convention was dedicated to attacking Trump.

Good piece. The DNC convention, like the RNC, was mixed between attack the opposition and prop up its candidate, which I think is typical. No big deal, Trump, Pence and the RNC are all going to do what they think works best.

I found this paragraph in the OP to be a concise statement of the state of a DEM-fabricated side-issue ...

CNN's assault on the truth offers a window into how the mainstream media lies in order to promote its left-wing agenda. Even though Clinton is the candidate who appears to have violated national security laws with her insecure email servers, the media are now smearing Trump as soft of national security and sympathetic to Russia, or even worse, as a traitor.

On news this morning- friendly to Hillary and Obama, they showed Leon Pannetta screaming about Trumps comments about the emails and Russia.

Nothing so far about wickileaks emails released, nor IRS looking into Clinton foundation.

Let's be clear. The real traitors here are:

The CIA; they knew pantload's server was extremely reckless and did nothing.

The FBI; an absolute rollover for political reasons alone.

The State Dept.: Putting their own people's lives at risk.

The Just Us Dept: Again putting politics ahead of the law.

The President: All of the above people work for him and he knew this nonsense was going on from the beginning.

Finally, the media that runs cover for the dhimmis no matter what.

Funny though - That the RNC convention was also focused on attacking Trump ... in the press reporting, the press interviews, the press investigations, the press propaganda.

On stage? Only when the GROPe elites had the microphone. Cruz, Ryan, Priece, etc.

The real traitors are the Soros, the media, the Clintons, Obama and the high level member members of the Obama Administration.

The rest are people who refused to do anything about it.

Back in the nineties, my wife and I were buying a new car. We were shopping around and went into a Saturn dealer, and the guy told us all about the car, its features, cost, etc. When we left, we had an idea about the car, and what we might get if we bought one. Not once did the guy even bother to compare it to any other brand.

We went to a Ford dealer, and the guy asked what kind of cars we were looking at. When we told him we had looked at Saturns, he didn’t say a single word about the Ford Taurus we were thinking of. He spent 15 minutes on the drawbacks of Saturns.

When we left, we talked about it, and both concluded we didn’t want to buy a Ford, because all the guy did was talk down the Saturn, and didn’t even try to compare the Ford to it. We both developed a deep distrust of the brand, dealer, and sales staff there.

I feel exactly that same way when I hear a politician just attacking someone else. Sometimes it needs to be done, but when it is a one-trick pony...well, that should tell you something.

For liberals, that is all they can offer.
