I still remember one of the songs they satirized back in the 60's. (sung to the tune Moon River): Chopped Liver, onions on the sideMy dad sings MAD songs. "On the Seat Where I Sit" (Street Where You Live) is one of them. "Trashcans Aweigh." "Nose Job."
Some of them were in phonograph records that came with the magazine (?)
He says it was great, but he's an aficionado of novelty songs.
