Indeed, but Congress should of course defund AFFH. To no surprise the Senate wimped out and voted for a worthless Collins amendment to the HUD bill instead of the superior Lee amendment. The House has passed the much better Gossar amendment. I don’t know where it stands as far as a conference between the House and Senate goes, but I would expect Paul Ryan to cave on this very quickly.
