No, the problem as I understand the article, is both. One manipulating the other. I thought it was an interesting perspective. It is helpful to understand why the leadership in these countries are not protecting their citizens.

Their expressed goal is to utterly destroy western civilization and kill everyone who opposes their objectives. And anyone who is paying attention to their fanaticism will rightly conclude that as soon as they are in possession of nuclear weapons they will not hesitate to use them. Then we will be shocked by “breaking news” that London or Paris or New York has been obliterated and tens of millions of people have been instantly incinerated.

I’m with a lot of the other posters here who opine that if it ever gets to the point where we have the prospect of being penned in, we will have bigger issues.
