Obama says it is possible Russia would try to sway U.S. election
U.S. President Barack Obama said it was possible that Russia would try to influence the U.S. presidential election, after a leak of Democratic National Committee emails that experts have attributed to Russian hackers.
"Anything is possible," Obama told NBC News in an interview broadcast on Tuesday when asked if the Russians would try to influence the Nov. 8 election.
Obama said the Federal Bureau of Investigation was investigating the leak on Friday of more than 19,000 DNC emails, which showed the committee had favored Hillary Clinton over Senator Bernie Sanders for the party's presidential nomination.
"I know that experts have attributed this to the Russians," Obama said.
"What we do know is that the Russians hack our systems, not just government systems but private systems," he said.

Trump should keep his distance from the Russians. If he’s got people on his staff who are too cozy with them, they should either leave or keep a very low profile.
But it sure seems like they want to blame it on the Russians.

The USSR created the modern Democrat party, so they’ve been influencing elections for 50 years and the USSR ceased to exist 25 years ago.
So, it would make sense that the contemporary Russians would try to defeat the party of atheism and Third-world values today.

It’s even possible the US would attempt to influence an election in Israel.

- Clinton campaign makes a call to the NYTs and Wapo claiming there is a “source” that says it was the Ruskies.
- NYTs and WaPo both run stories with that information alone
- Clinton campaign then goes on Sunday shows and use the articles as a basis for the claim
- Story gets spread to all other news outlets within 24 hours
- Local 3 page newspapers in Podunk, USA pick up the AP article on it to fill the pages between obits and want ads
- Story Clintons created now becomes fact with no more proof than the original “anonymous sources”
- Now, nobody in the media is talking about the contents of the leaked mails.
- Mission accomplished. Clintons and the DNC skate again.

Before the leaks, they were pushing the narrative that Trump is working for Putin.
Slate and the New Yorker both publishes articles saying that before the release of the e-mails.

Well we know it wasn’t the Chinese, because the Clintons have ties to the Chinese. But then again, the Russians and Bill are sort of cozy - they paid Bill $500,000 for a speech to a Russian investment house that has ties to the Kremlin. So why should the Russians do it?
Maybe it was Erdogan. The guy who Erdogan is accusing of masterminding the coup attempt (Gulen) is a big contributor to the Clinton foundation. That’s it - Erdogan, al Sisi, Netanyahu - they were all in it together.
