Bernie Sanders will not formally nominate Hillary Clinton for president, in a gesture he will not offer that might otherwise have been another signal of unity and reconciliation for still-seething Bernie backers.
'He will not nominate her, Sanders spokesman Michael Briggs told DailyMail.com

Rita,
I happened to see the twin Castro brothers on the morning show on CBS. One of them was asked about running against Cruz in ‘18. His face gave it away instantly. Slimy Democrats from San Antonio the both of them.
Texas is a big country and certainly we can come up with a Primary challenger for the insufferable Ted Cruz.
His brother Larry came on earlier & said the revolution continues.
Useless. Letdown. Putting popcorn away for another day.
Bernie just did it.
Sanders can’t nominate. He can only endorse, right?
Now Clinton and the DNC want to get him and keep him offstage and out of the spotlight.
SURRENDER!

“Mothers of Mayhem”...says it all!
Isn’t that “into the donkey” instead?
Even Republican traitors (Cruz) are better than Democrat traitors. Bern is a whimpering emasculated phony. Cruz wins the stabbing-in-the-back contest by a wide margin.
metaphors with horses and their feces in them are growing increasingly more apt.
“the dean of women senators”
When you’re talking about a chick, it’s appropriate to append “ette” to the title; e.g. “deanette.”
Feel free to use it.
.... I wonder who will get the all important “Mad Magazine” endorsement?
Donkey not horse.....:o)
But it was Vermont that put her over the top and he announced it.
Interesting the vote wasn’t televised. I guess they were thinking the bernites were going to raise some hell. I still predict she will get a lot of boos during her acceptance speech.
Two questions here.
1. Didn’t Bernie just ask his supporters to vote for Hillary yesterday?
2. Does this remind you a bit of what Cruz did during the Republican convention?
“Hell, Im starting to root for the guy now. Hes been screwed royally.”
I get it - for the sake of integrity and the ‘underdog’ getting screwed over, I feel the same way. (Not to win the election of course). Unfortunately, he needs to stay guarded when dealing with the clintons (no capital C).
I didn’t watch many or much of the debates. But, I am really looking forward to a Trump / Clinton debate!
Frankly, I applaud Bernie on this. He is at least a man of integrity regarding the crooked Democrat party system.
OTOH, I am upset at Ted Cruz. Why? Because Ted should KNOW that a Trump presidency, as much as he might disagree with policy and posture, is also likely to change the face of the Supreme Court for DECADES.
Ted Cruz could’ve been a fixture on that bench. At the least, he could’ve been a man who helped President Trump choose true jurists for the positions.
He has chosen a different path. In my opinion, that is wrong.
Bernie lost to Hitlery because of a crooked super delegate system set up after the 1972 Democrat convention. Cruz lost to Trump “fair and square”. So Bernie, imo, has a case again the Bent One’s “wife”. Cruz really doesn’t have a case against Trump in the same sense.
