Just maybe, sometime I'll look later to hear how fluid the delivery was. The delivery from the woman who said it yestreday (I do remember that it was a woman) seemed to have a little pause, something like "Founding Fathers...and Mothers." I don't know if the pause was for emphasis or if it was a spontaneous, even reflexive, "correction" for the sake of "gender neutrality" (as I first interpreted it). I've previously heard such "corrections," some more awkward than others,
