That does appear to be our meme, but I am thinking, after watching yesterday, that it is worse than that. We would like to think that they are dumbed down and unaware, but we may be underestimating them.
When I saw speaker after speaker, yesterday, praising their party for accomplishments that Republicans and Conservatives even contributed to, and claiming a generosity for handing out the hard work of others, whether a real need existed or not, it occurred to me what chumps and suckers we, the opposition, can truly be seen as.
These Democrats ride around on the backs of the hard-working Consevative and snatch food from his very mouth to throw to others in the name of votes. They call those carrying them vile names and invite the voters to join them for the ride on our backs, and to take some of the food, themselves.
What do we offer? We ask the voter to join us in helping to carry them, and to take some of the beating, along with us.
Given that choice, maybe they are not so dumb after all.
What don’t they skip the middlemen and invite the devil himself?

When Sanders said in one of the DNC 'Debates' that Hillary's email/server fiasco (violation of the law) was much ado about nothing - we knew he was part of the 'Elect Hillary' team. Just another fraud trying to pave the way for the criminal.
They are still desperately trying to book Che Gueverra, Ho Chi Minh and Nikita Kruschev.
I agree that this gave him away.
A friend of mine, though she dislikes Hillary, will consider her simply because she thinks Hillary might at least have Bill to guide her. Another told me that if Hillary teams up with Bernie, she won't vote, period.
"Poor Hillary" is between a rock and a hard place -- needing Bernie to prop her up, but then driving the more mainstream types further away.
I know this is naïve, but I wondered:
Why DIDN'T any other Democrat try to run? Besides Bernie. Surely, knowing people's opinion of her, party members might have urged someone else to throw his/her hat into the ring. It's weird. I mean . . . couldn't the party come up with anyone else? This is really a sad comment.
The whole DNC reeks of desperation. This rearrangement of speakers fulfilled my prediction -- that they want to detract from the weirdos who co-opted everything.

A sensible thing is to not run against Hilliary - in light of all the dead bodies littering the Clinton’s rise to power. (Bernie the Red is old enough not to consider that much of a threat , but all younger people would —)

That’s exactly what’s happening.
There weren’t enough speakers that would entertain and the 1st night’s ratings were probably leaked out to them so now in reaction to that, they’re trying to spice things up.
