Amish PAC endorsed Republican nominee Donald Trump and launched billboards in Lancaster, Pennsylvania — west of Philadelphia where the Democratic National Convention is being held this week.

"Pennsylvania has a good shot of going Republican in November and these billboards will certainly help by getting people registered and to the polls," said Ben King, the outreach director for Amish PAC.

The goal of the billboards is to educate Amish and Mennonite voters about Trump.

I saw a while back where several of those Alaska Bush people got convicted of taking the annual Alaska Dividend while residing as citizens of another state.

Even the Amish can see how this country is down in the toilet and how the culture and the leftist devils are threatening their religious life and freedoms.

Are the billboards lighted? Just curious.

Yep. But they're not owned or operated by Amish, so it's OK.

And can we now, PLEASE, stop calling urban negro thugs "Amish"?

With an estimated 70k Amish in PA and another 70k in Ohio...yeah, this voting bloc COULD make or break the election...

Just one problem. The Amish don’t vote.

Could Amish voters swing Pennsylvania for Donald Trump?

After winning re-election in 2004, George W. Bush took a trip to Amish Country.

He hadn't come for a handmade quilt commemorating his second term, or a sampler of fresh preserves to keep onboard Air Force One.

This was business.

Specifically, Bush had come to thank Lancaster County Republican organizers who had worked on his behalf to secure strong turnout among local Amish voters that Nov. 2.

Wooing the Amish vote in the 2016 election

Holmes County, Ohio, has the highest population of Amish and Mennonites in the United States. CNN's Gary Tuchman asked some of its residents for their thoughts on the 2016 election as a Donald Trump Superpac prepares to target their community over the summer.

Most Amish don’t vote in national elections but about 10-15% do. That’s a significant number in a swing state. It can’t hurt to try to turn out more of them as they usually vote heavily Republican. They vote in greater numbers on some local ballots, particularly where zoning and local law is concerned.

Mennonite use technology and are involved in the govt. Because of their similar dressing they are often confused with being Amish. That’s just my guess.

Actually the meme that the "Amish did it" everytime there is breaking news of a new terrorist act or other atrocity is poking fun at the mainstream media reluctance to state the racial or religious identity of the perpetrators out of political correctness. Because the mainstream media obviously wished they could blame such act on a bunch of "white people" - we usually offer up the Amish as it exposes the ludicrousness of this mindset.

Years ago, there used to be a radio talk show in Boston that would regularly report on dog attacks by pit bulls. Enraged pit bull owners would always call in to protest that pit bulls were being unfairly maligned. So eventually the talk show host started substituting "golden retriever" every time he reported on another pit bull attack. Of course it was ridiculous to suggest that golden retrievers were actually behind these attacks and everybody knew what dog breed was actually getting referred to. The point was made and the reputation of golden retrievers was not harmed.

Actually the meme that the "Amish did it" everytime there is breaking news of a new terrorist act or other atrocity is a tired, worn out, used up, boring, stupid and unfunny joke (I use the term loosely) that should have been abandoned years ago.
