Negotiations are underway to have Bernie Sanders officially nominate Hillary Clinton for president at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday night, a move that would further signal party unity.
According to a source familiar with the talks, the Vermont senator would nominate the presumptive Democratic nominee after the roll call vote that will be held on the convention floor.
NBC News first reported the negotiations.

That ought to spin them up. The Bernie folks I’ve talked to over the last couple of days aren’t taking it well...
To be accurate, he should bend over and spread his cheeks when he nominates her.
Wouldn’t it be funny if Bernie or his supporters started a chant to “Vote your Conscience”.
His FORMER supporters are not going to be playacted by that.
Bernie is seen as a sell-out. Completely compromised. Going through the motions for the people that have been screwing them all along.
Actually I was hoping he would wear a “Pin the Jackass” T-Shirt.

I read yesterday that the Bernie signs have been confiscated. But it isn’t the signs that have been booing.
We can’t have the riff-raff spoiling Hillary’s special moments.
