Ditto what you said!

What a plane.
Is this also considered a multi-level capable fighter, ie: long range, carrier version, close ground support?
How effective a jet fighter is this Typhoon considered against our F-18, 16, 22, 35, Israeli, Russian and Chinese fighter jets?
The F-22 & 35 are considered 5th generation, correct?
What is this considered?

I’d always read that the Typhoon is a gen 4.5 it is very good against the F 16 and 18. I don’t know about the Russian aircraft. It should also be fine against the F 35, since the Typhoon was built as a fighter.

Generation 4.5 means it has similar performance and stealthiness compared to the F-18 and F-16 but slightly more refined design and better avionics. The Rafael is also considered 4.5. The lastest upgrades to the F-15 and F-16 could probably also be considered 4.5
