Doesn’t Everybody “bring diversity” by way of being a unique individual? Do we have to appease all by praising every cultural difference, even if it is uncivilized or useless?

I do not get the need, this urge, to think in terms of the collective. None of us asked to be born who we are. Nobody’s special for having brown or black skin just as nobody’s special for having white. If one is sexually attracted to their own gender this is a personal thing to contemplate and live out, not a “cause.” It’s only one aspect of you. Why can’t we just love ourselves for our own individual soul being unique from the creator? Why such a need to be validated as “special” by the world? Isn’t loving oneself and family, friends who cherish you enough? Such superficial things that don’t matter in the long run is what many choose to focus on in this fleeting thing called life.
