full title.....Exclusive: Suspected Russian hack of DNC widens — includes personal email of staffer researching Manafort

Just weeks after she started preparing opposition research files on Donald Trump’s campaign chairman Paul Manafort last spring, Democratic National Committee consultant Alexandra Chalupa got an alarming message when she logged into her personal Yahoo email account.

“Important action required,” read a pop-up box from a Yahoo security team that is informally known as “the Paranoids.” “We strongly suspect that your account has been the target of state-sponsored actors.”

Chalupa — who had been drafting memos and writing emails about Manafort’s connection to pro-Russian political leaders in Ukraine — quickly alerted top DNC officials. “Since I started digging into Manafort, these messages have been a daily occurrence on my Yahoo account despite changing my password often,” she wrote in a May 3 email to Luis Miranda, the DNC’s communications director, which included an attached screengrab of the image of the Yahoo security warning.

C’mon, it doesn’t matter

Doncha know it’s the color of the skin rather than the content of character?

I don’t believe for a minute Yahoo has a notification that reads (all or in part) “State sponsored actors”

I want to see a screen shot

Guccifer 2.0, a Romanian, has been claiming responsibility all along. You might be referring to an interview he gave.

Of course, it’s a truism that when something gains news prominence, there’s often multiple people claiming credit for it. We see this often with terrorist groups, as in “He is one of our warriors, we take credit, fear us.”

So, maybe Guccifer 2.0 (can I call him G2?) isn’t entirely responsible. I don’t care. Whoever is responsible has done us a big solid. The Dems haven’t denied, and it is now to late to deny, the authenticity of the e-mails. It makes them look like the corrupt scum we always suspected they were.

My favorite leaked e-mail of the day, posted earlier on FR, was the one which showed a donor spreadsheet with potential requests/lineups for government committee boards. And the Dems like to righteously pretend there’s no “pay to play,” haha. All that money flows to the party as a selfless gesture of support for the right policies of the country. Riiiiight.

I will admit my brain is not in top form lately.

The “Russians did it” lie is really making the rounds, and that’s why I posted about the Assange interview, and then finally I read the Zero Hedge article with the transcript of Guccifer 2’s interview. So it’s all clear to me at least.

And I agree; whoever hacked and the subsequently being made public, is light shining on the darkness, which is exactly what the world needs.

3 top US cyber security companies voice high degree of confidence Russia was behind the DNC emails leak - @RichardEngel

The truth ?

Every major nation around the world has a copy of the DNC and HRC emails. The only nation that doesn't is the United States.

Exactamundo, C_C. Had these been RNC emails showing the same last week, the media wouldn’t have covered the RNCconvention because it would interrupted wall-to-wall coverage of the email scandal.

AS of 3:25pm eastern time a google search of “We strongly suspect that your account has been the target of state-sponsored actors.” yeilds: About 68 results (0.30 seconds)

My BS detector is spiking.

SO... what the Democrats are saying is that Russia is exposing corrupt politicians in the United States ?

Do we have a medal we can give them ? A Nobel Peace Prize ? The winning ticket for the PCH Sweepstakes ?

Forgot to add, every google result for the search term “We strongly suspect that your account has been the target of state-sponsored actors.” references Chalupa.

It’s total BS, rabbit trail, red herring.

I think Putin sees in Trump a man he can deal with instead of an unstable woman with whom he will always have to wonder if his bid was the highest, or his blackmail the most effective.

I believe that Putin and Trump would very readily resolve their issues and cut a deal beneficial to both sides. It’s what they do.

Actually it is fairly irresponsible to blame the Russians when you have absolutely no proof at all. This demonstrates that they will harm critical international relations for political benefits.

It’s worse than irresponsible; it’s lying on purpose, for nefarious purposes. One, to harm Trump; two, to further animosity towards Russia which globalists and commiepukes want for their own reasons (money? Russia is hard against jihadis? envy?), and third, deflect attention from the content of the hacked info.

ANd now we have clearly seen how the MSM are siamese twins with the DNC, it’s clear to everyone that it is just an engineeered propaganda fest.
