Retired Gen. Allen (USMC) endorses Clinton (barf!)

Retired Marine Gen. John Allen has endorsed Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee's campaign announced Monday.

Allen, a four-star general who led coalition forces in Afghanistan, acknowledged the endorsement as a "very personal decision."

"Through 37 years of service in the U.S. Marine Corps, I saw some of the toughest challenges that our nation faces around the world, and I know that America has the power to meet those challenges. However, it requires continued leadership and engagement in the world, continued partnership with our allies, and a clear understanding of our adversaries," Allen said in a statement released through the Clinton campaign. "It requires patience and a deep comprehension of the international landscape to make smart decisions about when and how to use military force as well as an understanding that other tools of American power such as diplomacy and development aid - that will [keep] armed forces out of harm's way unless it is absolutely necessary. And it requires a leader who wants to understand these complex issues and seek advice and counsel. Hillary Clinton is all of those things."

Birds of a feather

“On November 13, 2012, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said that Allen’s nomination for SACEUR would be “delayed.” News agencies reported that Allen’s communications with Jill Kelley, a Tampa woman who was friends with Allen’s predecessor as top commander in Afghanistan, David Petraeus, were under investigation. Petraeus had resigned as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency four days earlier.[39]

In November 2012, Allen became embroiled in an inappropriate communication investigation concerning his correspondences with Jill Kelley.[40] According to the FBI, Allen had received anonymous e-mail messages, sent by someone identified as “kelleypatrol” (later found to be Paula Broadwell) advising him to stay away from Jill Kelley. Allen forwarded it to Kelley and they discussed a concern that someone was cyberstalking them.[4]

In response to the investigation, Secretary Panetta moved to speed the nomination of General Joseph Dunford to command of forces in Afghanistan.[41]

Allen has a poor reputation among his Marine peers. Most say that he was over his head commanding forces in Afghanistan and that he often took credit for accomplishments that he played no role. To sum it up, many Marine Corps officers say that Allen is a typical “parade grounds General”. (huge insult in the Corp.)

I wouldn’t trust any current or retired military officer who was involved in this country’s foreign military campaigns since 1988. There’s simply too much evidence that our military has been compromised and has effectively been operating as a mercenary force for foreign interests.

If they did a side-by-side of his emails with deaths in combat in Helmand Province I’ll bet you can find more than one happening at the same time.

Bought and paid for.

Money, a star, an appointment, a favor for a relative, or maybe just keeping her mouth shut about a certain indiscretion.

You can bet Allen's been promised a cushy, high-paying, high-profile job in a Hillary administration.

Add to that income his military pension and benefits.

Add to that the ability to cash in on the term "U.S. Marine Corps General" to make tens of thousands as a speaker on the creamed chicken circuit and other income-producing gigs.

He and his will be set for life.

All this is what prompted his decision to support Hillary for president.

All this is what DC elitism and crony connections-ism is all about.

Stopping this ongoing incestuous networking among government leftist insiders, retired ambitious military sell-outs, greedy favor-seekers and corrupt favor-givers is what Donald Trump is all about.

I few “Tidbits” from Gen Allen’s Wiki:
1/Following commissioning in 1976, Allen attended The Basic School and was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines, where he served as a platoon and rifle company commander. His next tour took him to Marine Barracks, 8th and I, Washington, D.C. where he served at the Marine Corps Institute and as a ceremonial officer.

Allen then attended the Postgraduate Intelligence Program of the Defense Intelligence College, where he was the Distinguished Graduate. He subsequently served as the Marine Corps Fellow to the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). He was the first Marine Corps officer inducted as a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
2/In November 2012, he came under investigation for possible “inappropriate-communication” concerning his correspondences with Jill Kelley, the Honorary Ambassador to U.S. Central Command Coalition Forces.[17] In response to the investigation, Secretary Panetta suspended his confirmation hearing for commander of EUCOM and requested the U.S. Congress to speed the confirmation of General Joseph F. Dunford, Jr. to command of forces in Afghanistan.[18] On January 22, 2013, General Allen was cleared in a misconduct inquiry.[19]

Certifiable nut case. This guy was engaged in a "fan fiction" email exchange with Jill Kelly according to HuffPost

excerpt:

From: John Allen Date: Mon, 13 Sep 2010 8:56:12 -0500 To: Jill Kelley Subject: RE: Princess Kelley’s Super Sweet 16

[I love it! Mind if I continue???]

Army JROTC Cadet Master Sergeant John Allen was called into the gymnasium locker room by his squad commander. He stood at attention and waited.

“Cadet Master Sergeant Allen, are you aware of what day it is?” said the squad commander.

“YES, SIR! JILL KELLEY’S SIXTEENTH BIRTHDAY, SIR!!!” replied Master Sergeant Allen.

This is a general officer??
