You are right. We are greatly overdue for a messy disaster distracting America from anything that makes Democrats look bad. DNC is dialing 800-OIL-SPIL right now. Or maybe another plane will go missing. Either should give them a solid week of cover. Never let an instacrisis go to waste and all.
