They will try to make it out that this is “only” about his alleged mental illness, but ofc millions of people with mental illnesses do not blow themselves up in crowds of innocent people.
It’s not either/or..... perhaps many or most jihad terrorists ARE mentally ill by some definition, else they could not do what they do. But mental illness is never a SUFFICIENT condition for these types of behaviors -— someone has to have Islamic jihad ideology and motivation to carry out a suicide bombing, or a shooting attack while calling out “Alahu Akhbar”....
People afflicted with the Moslem syndrome which affects all followers of Islam have a psychological requirement to die while killing infidels in large batches and to die in the process.

I don’t think that’s the case. They have a world view in which one works to please Allah but never knows whether the bad outweighs the good. It’s a religion of works with no grace.
But, if you blow yourself up killing infidels, that wipes out the slate and you get the virgins.
Ignorant boys with no education raised that way from birth. They are just fitting in with their culture and doing what they are expected to do. The culture is, perhaps, insane. But not the members who are just fitting in.
