I had to look up what a towel charm and it's something I would never buy but so what? There are many things being sold that I would never purchase myself. My wife collects refrigerator magnets. I find them useless but if I see one that I think she'll like, I'll pick it up for her.

At the liquor store I go to, they sell wine glass charms, which I guess there is another niche market for. They clip onto the stem of a wine glass so that you don't pick up somebody else's glass by accident.

Yep. Have used the glass charms at gatherings. Nifty idea, really. As I am constantly washing towels that can be a couple of times.
