Three Clinton aides received top secret emails
The Hill ^ | 7/22/16 | EVELYN RUPERT

Emails on Hillary Clinton’s private server marked “top secret” ended up in the inboxes of three total Clinton aides, the State Department revealed.

The 22 emails over seven email chains included Clinton aides Jacob Sullivan, Cheryl Mills, and William Burns, according to documents released by the State Department to Vice News Friday.

Twenty of the emails were restricted to Clinton and Sullivan, with some originating from other unnamed State Department officials.

Two were email chains among State officials forwarded by Sullivan — one to Clinton and Mills, and another to Clinton, Mills and Burns.

The existence of the top-secret email chains became publicly known in January, although their recipients have remained under wraps until now.

In his report on the investigation into Clinton’s private email server, FBI Director James Comey said that the emails were not put under stricter classification after the fact.

"Seven e-mail chains concern matters that were classified at the Top Secret/Special Access Program level when they were sent and received," Comey said.

"These chains involved Secretary Clinton both sending e-mails about those matters and receiving e-mails from others about the same matters.”

The State documents itemize each email and show who was included on the chains but do not reveal the subject of the messages.

The documents were released in a so-called “Vaughn Index,” a response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request that withholds some information.

Vice News said that a Vaughn Index would typically include additional insight into the content of the emails.

They may have contained top secret classified material but they weren't market top secret.

Failure to properly mark classified documents is a further charge, not a defense.

People need to take a step back and see the bigger picture here. These are folks who are experienced government operatives. They are arguing that they belong in the white house responsible for the entirety of our national security. Yet, they don't recognize TS special handling material when they see it.

The stated defense alone disqualifies them on the basis of ignorance and incompetence. It is also not a defense. An 20 year old enlisted communications technician is held responsible for knowing these things and getting them right every single time, on pain of sever sanctions.

Most people have never handled classified, and know neither the rules nor the markings. I’m sure the author of this article doesn’t know. It is like a journalist writing about a Glock handgun...

Markings are irrelevant. To receive SAP information, you must be read in to the program. That requires a lot of paperwork, all of which explains in detail the requirement to control access. Someone with a TS clearance is not allowed to see SAP material that is classified secret, because that is what SAP does - it limits access.

They have special buildings and special rooms for TS material. There are layers of security to go thru just to be handed a TS document. There is no way anyone who reads TS material does not know that the stuff they are reading is NOT allowed to be discussed in emails, or at McDonalds, etc.

They have classified email and a classified Internet. Am I supposed to believe Hillary Clinton, the smartest woman who ever lived, didn’t notice?

As Sec State, Hillary was a classifying authority and therefore fully responsible under the Law for the material’s handling.

Aw shucks, Hillary doesn't understand classification markings! Why, she probably gave her sign-on at the State Department to an aide, who took the online security courses for her (she's a busy lady, making deals with the ChiComms and Saudis!).

TS? TS??! She probably thought that meant Turkey Sandwich!

I know lack of markings is no defense for Hillary. I understand her obligations.

My issue is with sloppy, dishonest journalism. If the emails were indeed marked top secret Hillary would have unambiguously lied, and Comey would have blatantly perjured himself in front of Congress.

If this claim were true it would indeed be a bombshell, but it isn't.

"Classified" is a term which is used to refer to the sensitivity of information, the control of access to information or knowledge that might result in loss of an advantage or level of security if disclosed to others.

Loss, misuse, modification, or unauthorized access to sensitive information can adversely affect the privacy or welfare of an individual, trade secrets of a business or even the security and international relations of a nation depending on the level of sensitivity and nature of the information.

"Top Secret" is the term normally used to refer to the highest level of classified information. Information is further compartmented so that specific access using a code word after top secret is a legal way to hide collective and important information.Such material would cause "exceptionally grave damage" to national security if made publicly available.

In the United States, there are three basic classification levels, distinguished by the amount of damage it would cause in the event of unauthorized disclosure:

A Vaughn Index for a FOIA request is a document that confirms the existence and general content of a Government Document that is being withheld from disclosure without disclosing specific content .

Hillary’s behavior is so blatantly criminal and so corrupt that even the Vaughn Index that disclose the mere existence of certain types of documents is enough to indict and convict Hillary and her three aides and put them in jail, even if we don’t know the contents.

The Vaughn Index inventory shows that there were Top Secret documents in correspondence between Hillary Clinton and three of her aides , none of whom had the proper security clearance to have these docs in their possession. All were stored on Hillary unsecured server.

Given the fact that the original FOIA request was years old the disclosed Vaughn Index is recent , we can assume that top secret emails are from the batch of “thousands” of emails that Hillary deleted and the FBI was able to recover forensically.

The mere fact that she sent and received Top Secret documents from an unsecured, illegal private server to three people without proper security clearance is more than enough evidence to convict all three and put them in jail.

The Clinton's and the Obama Administration are trying to bog down the email server debacle smoke screens, misdirections and in irrelevant issues

We know beyond a shadow of a doubt “Seven e-mail chains concern matters that were classified at the Top Secret/Special Access Program level when they were sent and received,” Comey said. “These chains involved Secretary Clinton both sending e-mails about those matters and receiving e-mails from others about the same matters.”

That information above is all that is needed for conviction of all participants.

The bigger question is how did Hillary get this Top Secret/SAP information on her personal server, who sent it to her, why did Hillary have this information and what were her motives , and finally and most important, what did she do with with the information and who else did she she share it with.

... Somebody has to go to jail. If Clinton is allowed to state that the Classification Markings were stripped off — and the FBI lets that stand — then the next question is “Who stripped the markings before forwarding it to the boss?” We’re casting for a person to fill the role of Scooter Libby. Cheryl? Huma?

Gross Negligence is the same legal definition as "extreme carelessness."

Hillary is a felon. She does not even meet the minimum criteria to hold her security clearance. She lied to the FBI. She committed perjury in front of Congress. She exposed classified agents to death and harm.

Nobody cares because the Democrats hold fundraisers with The Washington Post.

The recent hacking of DNC documents and release by Wikki leaks put a new spin on Hillary's e mail server

The media has went to great lengths to make a big deal about there being no firm hard proof that her server was hacked.

The brand new, state of the art DNC 2016 Elections server system, presumably with the best upgraded security available if they learned anything from the Clinton server disaster, was hacked, completely compromised and it's contents downloaded by foreign private amateur hackers.

Hillary's server was the DNC style server she used for her 2008 Presidential campaign. Clinton's home brew server was an obsolete 12 year old version of the new state of the art DNC server system and Hillary's server lacked the state of the art security and encryption

If hacking the 2016 DNC server was as easy as taking candy from a baby, Hillary's older obsolete and unsecured server system would have been as Guccifer described it, an orchid on open display and just waiting and begging to get picked and put in a vase.
