I imagine these big donors will be funding the Super Pacs to oppose Cruz and Kasich very soon. They are going to find out that their loyalty to the Bushes and Romney is no longer in their best interests. Trump controls the party now, thank God.
Exactly. The never Trumpers have been tantruming for months and colluding to depress support for Trump. Trump made efforts to get them on board: policy speeches, judge list, Pence selection, etc. We will never successfully engage the MSM/Dem tag team while getting sucker punched from behind.
This is at time for choosing and there are only two choices for Republicans. Get on the Trump Train now or get lost (shut up). Any “Republicans” defacto campaigning for Hillary should be threatened with political destruction. Flamebait? Hardly. It’s has to be unprecedented in U. S. political history for a donor who gave $10 million dollars to publicly tell that candidate to die in fire.
After months and months of never Trump tantrums it’s far better to have a news cycle or two of Cruz being politically waterboarded then weeks on end of “will Ted Cruz endorse Trump?”. It appears Cruz is already backtracking from his speech and I assume we will have a resolution shortly. Either Cruz will publicly call for party unity under Trump or disappear from this election season. Either solution is fine for Trump. What we don’t want is another primary while he is fighting the general. That is a guaranteed defeat.
