"AND LO, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS"
Matthew 28:20
One morning I stood on the bluffs overlooking the coast at Camp Pendleton. I spied an amphibious naval vessel just off shore. As I stood watching, it came into full view, then disappeared as the early morning fog came and went. The ship was always there, but it was only visible part of the time. It spoke to me of the reality of God's presence. The truth is God is always there, but our changing moods affect our ability to see. It's good days and bad days again, or would you believe, it can change moment by moment. In the times when vision is less clear, it's truly faith that helps us see and enables us to believe enough to keep trying. So, live by faith. Trust in the Lord and keep looking ahead. God is with us in the confusion of life. CAPT R. C. Brooks, CHC, USNR

Good evening, Pro....she was indeed a sweetie and in so much pain every day. And she was for sure a lover of The Lord. She IS now in His arms and pain free.
A Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.

Thanks, Luv, for the prayer for Kristin...what a shock I got this morning. She lived with so much pain, but never wavered in her strong faith.

Your post shocked me! I knew she was agonized by pain, but I never had a clue that it was life-threatening. Bless her heart....I know she’s happy now.
Did you hear from a member of her family?

Thanks PROCON. After action report would be lengthy. 70 kids and adults from 5 churches staying at the community high school. 30 from our church alone. My group worked our tails off at the Bug O Nay Ge Shig Ojibwe School moving classroom contents from a dilapidated pole barn that had served as their high school into some temporary storage while waiting for a new building to be built. Then we demolished some old bleachers.
We spent two days doing exterior carpentry and painting the home of a grandmother who had cancer and was trying to raise five mostly teenage grandchildren because DCS had taken them from their mother. The grandmother was very nice and appreciated our efforts. Her worthless gangbanger grandkids flipped us the bird as we drove off after we were done.
We had record heat for northern Minnesota and the heat took it out of the kids (and the old guys, too).

I missed a lot of news while away doing God’s work. We are pretty isolated on these trips. The United States could have declared war on Transylvania and we wouldn’t know.
