Are these the New Good Guys?
Is there some clause of the Constitution that Treasury Secretaries have to have a connection to Goldman Sachs? They’ve done such a bang-up job lately, I think someone who has never worked for them would be a good pick.
I noticed that too and had the same question about the wisdom of putting Goldman Sachs back into continuing charge.
Once a Prez appoints a Fed Chairman, I don’t think he can easily get rid of him.
