Actually, I have done an extensive study of this - brown rice has much more higher arsenic in it than bleached/white rice.

And in my study of rice from all over the world, the highest amount of arsenic was found in California grown brown rice. West Texas was about in third place, very bad.

So no, if you are eating California or West Texas brown rice, you are eating among the top 3 of the worst.

I buy decent Basmati white rice because it tastes good and it keeps very well. Brown rice goes rancid after a few months.

Should add I was looking into it for my home made dog food, but I wonder about all the rice in pre-packaged things like soup, Rice-A-Roni, etc.
