I’ve still not seen many (any?) national polls where Trump hits 45%. I would love nothing more than a landslide in his favor, t I’m sure not seeing it yet.

You want poll results or actual results?

In 2008 there were 38,111,341 Democrat votes in the primary.

In 2016 there were 28,269,195. A net decrease of 9,842,146 (-29%)

In 2012 there were 19,214,513 Republican votes in primary.

In 2016 there were 30,261,999. A net increase of 11,047,486 (+57%)

2016 primary results were pretty simple. Every vote for Trump, Sanders, Cruz and Ben Carson counts as a "I wanna change in the status quo" column. Each of those four candidtes absolutely, unmistakeably, offered and represented a major change in the status quo. ANYONE who voted for any of those four did so because they wanted major changes in the way the country is run.

And together they got 55% of all the primary votes.

The 2016 Presidential race is all about Change. Hillary represents more of the same. Trump offers change.

You are dealing with people who say when I see it, I’ll believe it. They are not winners just losers. They will never amount to much.

Trump on the other hand has a bold vision and he creates it. He has done that over and over again throughout his life. That is the mark on a true champion and a winner.

Those stats look great, but I have a question: Real Clear Politics says that there were 28.6 million total votes cast for the democrats during the presidential primaries, but there were only 20.9 million total votes cast for republicans—why do you think that is?

It seems strange that the republicans would have picked up that many new registrations but such a low percentage of turnout (70%+). The democrats had 100%+ turnout according to the numbers you provided. I guess I hoped to see close to the same number of votes cast for dems vs. reps.

I know it’s all about turnout on election day, but those numbers just don’t seem right to me—where do you think the discrepancy lies?
