The position is called a Resident Specialist. It sounds like it may involve working with students in residence.

The statement that worries me is "PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Skill in using sign language". I have no clue where sign language comes in handy dealing with blind students. I would have expected fluency in braille to be a requirement.

It is called a school for the blind and there is no reference to deaf students in the job posting.
