As for your point #1, which says Luntz did not find and recruit enough mccain supporters for the event, I don’t think he was aiming for that. As per the article, he polled the AZ delegation instead, which is a truer sample of the AZ gop primary vote.

Hell, he didn’t even pretend, my friend...
It is just beyond amazing to me that the fine people of Arizona kept sending him back to DC instead of sending him packing.
I guess they were either comfortable with him, or just not paying attention to his antics.
He’s not even a good RINO - just a small, cranky, arrogant old man that needs to go home.
