First I will say that I do not know what happened in this incident but will wait for the investigation to be complete but from the sound of it, this guy was not a habitual offender. It sounds like 1 arrest for driving on suspended license (does not show why it was suspended but states have made up so many ways to suspend license to enforce revenue generation). If reports are accurate, he had a concealed weapons permit so if true, this guy was not a habitual offender.
Some background: Philando Castile Was Pulled Over 49 Times in 13 Years, Often for Minor Infractions
Omg you are uninformed. Castile NEVER drove legally, and got caught driving without any license, reg, ins, literally SCORES of times, he racked up upwards of 70-80 total violations, misdemeanors and petty misdemeanors, and CHRONICALLY got caught driving with no license, time after time. That you’d assume based on this report that he had only one offense shows....oh never mind
Besides, even if you took this article as the only source of information, you still misread and misstated what it says! 2 not 1 (besides the fact that he had 70-80 or more total, when factoring multiple jurisdictions).
Plus, his illegal drug use invalidated any ccw permit, not to mention that a permit is moot if he reached when told not to reach.
