In 1983, Linda Ronstadt teamed up with Nelson Riddle,
and it was a far cry from what her fans were used to.
People tried to discourage her from doing this, thinking
it would be a huge bomb.
The album “What’s New” sold 3.7 million copies as of 2010.
She produced 2 more albums with him, and the total of the three albums sold? 7 million in the US ALONE!
