The problem with that is the work experience issue.
Should a woman with 5 years work experience who took five years off to start a family have some right to come back and then be paid the same as men or women working ten straight years?
No, and women are usually paid more compared to men working the same years anyway.
This was moving to the left for the vote IMO.
We are having this interesting conversation in my home, I’ve been stay at home Mom for 20 years and now preparing for re-entry, I will make 1/3 of what my husband earns. I, we sacrificed in order for me to be home and now my wages will never catch up to his. I have no regrets though.
