George Washington early on discovered the hazards of spending too freely, and that what the market gives it can take back. He relied on tobacco as his cash crop and got himself into a major bind when the price of tobacco in London fell but the bills that he owed for buying English goods stayed the same. He was land rich but cash poor.

For that kind of money the suit should be hand sewn and custom tailored.
