Donald Trump needed to give the speech of his life. He did that, and much more. He laid out an inspiring American Manifesto for our troubled times.
And he did it his way.
Not surprisingly, from start to finish, it is muscular and bold, leavened only by appeals to racial harmony and pledges of compassion for all. It offers a prominent nod to Bernie Sanders’ supporters in a bid to get some to jump the Democratic ship.
Most important, it keeps faith with his campaign themes of putting forgotten Americans first. In contrasting his view with his opponent’s, the Republican nominee put it this way: “Americanism, not globalism, will be our credo.”
And “I am your voice.”
And then this: “There can be no prosperity without law and order.”

I thought it was one of the best acceptance speeches I’ve seen.
The Ministry of Propaganda has a different view.
And all the media psychophants are painting the speech as “dark” and “psychotic” which is what Van Jones called it on CNN last night. Eiether these people are more stupid than even I give them credit for or they are so totally dense that they think everything is rosy. Either or we have the choice of a lifetime. This is NOT Republican Vs Dem...This is Save the Republic or let it continue to spiral into the abyss!
I was blown away by the authentic genuine tone of Ivana and Donald Trump’s speech, and am in Great agreement with what was said.

I hope this does begin a wave of lasting conservatism.
I remember how hard Ronald Reagan had to fight to get out his message.
It’s even harder now considering how more atomized America has become, ie: 30+ Million illegal / legal immigrants, muslims, homosexual/BTQ faction, tattoo nose ring metrosexual SJW under-30 generation.

Yes it has the feel of a spiritual and pragmatic revival all at the same time. I was feeling mournful for my country. Now I have a sliver of hope again. Thanks Trumps.

Trump’s message resonates with authentic, hard-working Americans. The payors of entitlements. The silent majority.
This will be one for the history books—we must compare it to what Hillary says—It will be well written but—can she deliver it well? The terrorists in Germany will help Trump as we see we need a strong leader.

I was too young then, but I have read reviews, and they all said essentially the same thing: “I think we picked the WRONG candidate” (as in we picked Ford, we should have picked Reagan).
It was just a convention speech from a runner-up...but it the future was PERFECTLY CLEAR.
Historic speech, though I don’t remember God really being mentioned.. perhaps I missed it. Otherwise knocked it out of the park.
Once every twenty years or so, a Romney climbs out of the ooze and tries to destroy the country.
Reagan was kneecapped by George Romney, who had also kneecapped Goldwater.
One thing that's already a big plus to me is that Trump was able to keep the Uniparty from forcing a globalist on him as vice-president.
Wow...I absolutely LOVE having people like you here. I’m too young to know the dynamics back then, but I am not surprised, at all that things were just as bad then, with the uniparty trying to cut deals with the Soviet Union (no different than the early generation cutting deals with Hitler).
It takes people with PURE COURAGE to STOP THAT - no one did that in the 1930s, so we got WW2. Reagan did that in the 80s and prevented a holocaust. Trump is doing that now and may well prevent us from us from turning into a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY, at best - if not EMP’d off the planet prior (by the Norks or Iranians).
I remember one guy I knew - I think from South Africa. He said to me that Reagan ALMOST destroyed the anti-West cabal, but they were just barely able to get to him and get him to mellow out enough to not stop their effort (his being shot in 1981 definitely helped their effort).
Trump actually seems MORE DETERMINED to implement his vision...things will be interesting.
