Another non discussed fact is the number of American Indians who owned slaves. In fact, the “native” Americans took the slaves with them when they were relocated from Georgia and Alabama to Oklahoma in 1832. Those slaves were not even freed by the 13th Amendment.

I wish more people would understand that slavery was legal in the US for 80 years (from the treaty of Paris in 1783 until the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863); illiterate blacktivists have used “400 years” ad nauseum, and it is just BS (quintupling the grievance).

This country will never have an honest discussion about race because the grievance industry is simply too lucrative...

The vast majority of slave ships came into Rhode Island, a Union state. Slavery was its #1 income producer.
