The panel of talking heads on Sky News are desperately trying to tie this to a ‘Breivik right winger’.
According to that account the guy was saying “stop filming me” “I am German” and something anti-foreigner. And he ran off.
Perhaps the jihadi said that, imagining that it was a way to keep the observers from calling the cops. Pretty stupid if you know Germans, but someone from another country might imagine that it would work. That he immediately ran off may mean he realized that it wasn’t going to work.
