Shots have been fired in a Munich shopping centre and a major police operation is under way German media is reporting.
Reports say the area round the shopping centre in the district of Moosach has been sealed off, but details of the incident are sketchy.
The security forces have been on alert after a migrant stabbed five people on a train in Bavaria on Monday.
The authorities had warned of the danger of further attacks.

Sky just said conflicting reports of 1 dead, 10 dead, and 15 dead.
No one knows at this time.
I don't think the ratio means much to the dead person.

The one thing we do know is they don’t want to talk about the shooter unless he is a non-Muslim.
Shooting event is over. Not clear if shooters are on the move, or killed.

Editor’s note: Leading German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung reports there are multiple deaths at the scene of a shooting at Munich’s Olympia-Einkaufszentrum mall. Live video posted to social media from the scene shows at least a half-dozen ambulances surrounding the building, which houses more than 100 shops and three major department stores. People can be seen running with their hands up, while others are reporting they are hiding out within the facility. Exactly, label it “old news” and move on.
Loretta Lynch said these young Muslim men need more love. It’s our fault that we consider them enemies simply because they want to kill us. We should be more compassionate and reach out to them with open arms.
