Yeah. Right. That’s why he’s been part of over 500 successful businesses. Because he’s stupid. By that standard, collecting government checks makes you an Einstein.

Yep. Trump MUST be “stupid and ignorant” - after all, he’s not a puke leftist who wants to destroy America. Never mind that he made 10 BILLION dollars. As we all know , “stupid and ignorant” people do that every day.

On the other hand, Max Hastings is an insufferable toff.

The arch-fascist, arch-imperialist, warmongering, racist, homophobic plutocrat Donald J. Trump has been nominated by the stupid Americans! God help us all!

I wish I was as stupid as Trump.

Why? Because I would be a billionaire.

“This fearsome man’s popularity reflects a new kind of politics which is probably here to stay — and not only in America.

Democracy is in trouble because of a breakdown of trust, a collapse of the old idea that those in charge know best.”

Well he got ONE thing right.

The only ones afraid of Trump are those on the establishment gravy train.

The most divisive political figure in modern U.S. history...

It would be darn near impossible to be more divisive than 0bama has been.

That's right - Trump is stupid.

No need for Hillary to be concerned.

The Presidency is in the bag.

The appalling truth is that Trump IS as stupid and ignorant as he seems (Brit barf alert)

Coming from a citizen of a fifth rate country I question the validity.

The comments from British readers are far more interesting and enlightening than the author’s screeds

Probably the best part about the screed is that he could hardly even offer the slightest endorsement of Bill Clinton’s 3rd term. In fact, he noted that his East Coast friends would have to take pain killers before they could manage casting votes for her.

At least he sticks to the media talking points.

Across middle America, in the vast territories where this election will be decided, away from the country’s narrow sophistication belts, many people are happy to believe the worst conspiracy stories about any member of the Clinton family.

No elitism here.

Yeah, what a stupid guy - he turned a $1 million loan into $10 billion in 45 years, raised a bunch of great kids, broke into politics by absolutely steamrolling 16 seasoned and capable politicians, and is in the process of becoming the POTUS.

I don’t think that this guy knows what “stupid” means.
