That blanket statement is a basis for being called a racist, and not without cause.
Sub-Saharan Africa is a place where a lot of the things Europeans and Most Orientals had to deal with (climate, seasons, food supplies, shelter) were not a problem. No need for anything more than a hut if it never gets cold; a lot of wild-growing stuff is available to eat (and they did learn to plant and harvest it as well) and animals aplenty to kill for food and domesticate for milk. Our white forebearers had to innovate or die. The blacks had much less need to do so.
Blacks do just fine when they are properly raised, instructed and have good attitudes instilled; whites do badly when NOT properly trained, instructed and when they lack good attitudes.
As for the blacks who can't care for themselves, Thanks, LBJ!

Brain mass differences between racial groups in the US
Jensen (1998) summarizes the brain mass findings from the Case-Western Reserve (1980) study (N= 811 W, 450 B). An age matched and height adjusted B-W differences of ~100g (~.78SD) was found, which is commensurate with the findings of Bean (1906), Mall (1909), Pearl (1934), and Vint (1934) as described in Rushton and Ankney (2009). Holloway (2002) found a B-W difference of 63 grams (N = 1,391 W; 615 Black). Similar findings have been found based in imaging studies (see 5). In their study, Isamah, et al. (2010) found that African Americans have 1 SD less total cerebrum volume than European Americans.
How many generations have countries in sub-Sahara Africa been receiving food and packages to feed their populations? At what point does one expect a population to assume some personal responsibility?
White men along the Mediterranean Sea had it pretty good too. Yet, somehow they managed to progress. Weather certainly influences civilization but so does war. War is not unique to any race.
The fact is that Asians certainly have advanced both technology and culturally; but as a group they lack the creativity found in Caucasians. This is evident not only in Architecture but in music, art but also in diversity of our inventions.
Why is it that there is this huge disparity in technology, even today? To assume that we are all the same is to disbelieve what is apparent in our schools, in industry, and in careers. In 30 years as an engineer I have met exactly 1 Native American engineer. He is a friend of mine, and truly a drastically flyer in every sense of the word. Cherokee, ex-Marine, electrical Engineer and Jewish. Tell me that’s not an aberation and I will tell you to your face that you are crazy.
Why do blacks make up 12% of the population, yet over-represent in every single negative stastitic you can name? Rape, violent crime, drugs, alcoholism, bankruptcy, drop out, illiteracy, you name it. And not just in America. It’s a world-wide phenomena. Name 1 country on the planet ran by blacks that has ever been successful ever. I will wait.
I tire of having every failure of blacks being blamed on me.
