My only shot is to tie my wagon to Donald Trump. Maybe I can be attorney general or solicitor general,’ And no, Rubio comes out, and as tepid as it may be, endorses Donald Trump. It’s Cruz who is the little bitch who can’t get over it.”

A bit of an exaggeration. Nobody’s happy about his failure to endorse Trump, but let’s keep things in perspective.

After giving his acceptance speech, Ford asked Reagan to come and say a few words to the convention; Reagan proceeded to give an eloquent address which virtually overshadowed Ford's speech.
My memory is that there were no conditions specified when Cruz agreed to support whomever the party ultimately nominated.
Further, my memory is that Cruz said nothing about withholding support after Trump launched on Cruz’ wife and father.
Ironically, on the subject of wives, if I recall correctly it was Cruz who first threw shade at Melania which, of course, guaranteed a response from The Donald.
So—Yeah, I’m with Miss Ann on this one.
I read somewhere that Cruz was a law professor for a while, and that his students loved him. Kind of wish he’d go back to the job where he enjoyed genuine success, but he evidently prefers politics.
