I have not seen the following discussed. The Republicans in the Senate hate Ted. Mr. Trump with the move to let Ted speak and say what ever he wanted just allowed Ted to shoot himself in the foot politically speaking. I believe that the Republicans in the Senate now will thank Mr. Trump for that move. Two birds with one stone so to speak.
I expect to find out in due course whether Cruz gave one speech to Trump and then delivered another, as Trump has stated. If so, this can be nothing more than a premeditated attack in support of Hillary.
