Limbaugh is wrong on this. As if neither Rush nor Ted know the codeword “Vote Your Conscience!”. Not after the pre-convention and day 1 brouhaha about the ‘vote your conscience’ NeverTrump.
This is the same as if I say “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” and I have no idea it is used codename by the BLM. All I am saying is hands up don’t shoot. So I shouldn’t get boo’ed.
sSPOT ON and what I kept saying last night! Using those “code words” were even WORSE than the non-endorsement.
Huh? I think you missed the second part on the page:
“Now, the context is that vote your conscience, I know, happens to be a rallying cry for many of the Never Trumpers.”
Limbaugh does acknowledge it and was looking to explain that to anyone who may have missed it. I for one haven’t cared for the NeverTrump movement and didn’t know that was their motto. Sooo, this was insightful for me. (By the way, I listened to this during lunch ~12:30 ET)
