Except Ted Cruz is about 10% of what Nixon was.

Nixon was nominated. Nixon came within a whisker of beating Kennedy, and probably actually did.

Nixon had met with many global leaders, was very astute with regard to foreign affairs, and was not a one term do nothing Senator at Ted’s stage of the game.

Nixon had served two terms as vice-president.

Ted... good grief he has an over-inflated opinion of himself.

Nixon had served two terms in the House and one in the Senate, before two terms as VEEP, prior to running for the presidency. Unlike smarmy Teddy, President Nixon was BRILLIANT, had accomplished much, and yes, he really DID beat JFK, but didn't want to "harm the nation", so didn't fight his loss.

In every possible way, President Nixon was little Teddy's superior and Teddy is no Nixon; just as he is NO Reagan. All Cruz is, is a lousy POS.

And Nixon, besides beating Kennedy, was OUSTED, tricked, about Watergate. It was a scam. He was the victim. They set him up, forced him to say certain things that later led to his having to resign. Those Bush guys got rid of their second President.

I have new respect for Nixon lately. He didn’t do ANYTHING anywhere near what goes on today since Poppy Herbert Walker was in the WH.
