I guess, as usual, truth means absolutely nothing to Democrats, since Trump has said that he’s not going to cut Social Security.

“The RealClearPolitics average is even worse. Today’s analysis has Clinton’s lead at 2.8 points.”...

Once again, a phony “poll”. Is there no end to what people will do to portray Hitlary in a positive light? She is a career criminal that would make Mafioso people blush with envy for what she has gotten away with her entire career. She belong in prison, there are no if’s, and’s or but’s about it.

You need to remember that no Republican candidate in my memory has called for a reduction Social insecurity benefits, but that has not stopped the Democrats from saying and running on a platform of “(So & So) has said he will slash social security. To the bone.”
Usually works because the average Democrat voter is dumber than rocks along with a certain percentage of Independents and Republicans.

I will never forget working the polls in Lakewood, CO back in 2000. An elderly, obviously ill woman was helped into the polling place by GOTV campaign workers. She must have said, she was there to “save her SS benefits from George Bush” at least four or five times.

George Bush????

It gives you an insight into what we’ll be hearing at their convention - lots of scare mongering to specific demographics; women, gays, Hispanic, etc. We should use that to our advantage, preempt them, laugh at them now and dare them to bring up such things, mock them. Then they’re in the position of proving us right or deciding to drop such rhetoric, win-win for us.

I have a diverse set of FB friends, only one of them has hinted at supporting Hillary. I’ve a couple of family liberals that will vote Dem like zombies but most of the Dems wanted Bernie and have openly called Hillary a liar and said they’d *never* vote for such a person. Many that are usually quiet politically called her out, she is not liked or trusted. Some may not “like” Trump but they don’t think he’s the weasel she is. He at least loves his country and says many things that resonate across party lines. Michigan may go red, between manufacturing and guns Trump is closer to them. I bet Hillary will go on about gun control.

Frankly, I don’t get the polls. I think they’re doing their utmost to skew them, which is why they might be panicking - they’re really behind and they know it, even if they’re trying to use them as a tool to fool everyone else...it’s not working like it “should” be.
