This from a seriously hard-core Cruz supporter right up to the nomination.

"The death blow to Cruz’s campaign was when he was endorsed by the establishment."

Cruz just proved he’s a liar, as Trump has said all along.

His promises are worthless. Lyin’ Ted!

Ted’s “vote your conscience” may be a hint at a third party GOP candidate.

If they go this route, it will guarantee 8 more years of Democrat malfeasance, corruption and outright treason..................

The entire theme of Cruz’s speech led to the inexorable conclusion that Trump must be elected.

He is so tone deaf he didn’t realize he was defiling his own high sounding words.

If you want more proof how delusional Cruz is, he went from being booed off the stage, straight into a skybox of wealthy donors, who promptly told him “you’re a disgrace!”

Trump’s counsel on CNN wanted to know, “what was he doing, looking for money?”

Actually the death blow was the arrogance of Cruz. He chose to not campaign in the south because his arrogance told him he had the south locked up. He stupidly thought no one here would vote for a guy from NY.

Trump came south and campaigned hard and often. He won people over. Hence Ted was destroyed in the SEC primaries. That gave Trump a huge advantage because the northeast was polling strong for Trump not Cruz....

Cruz thought because his dad declared that God had anointed him and that Beck said God had picked him that that made it so.....When people prophecy and it does not come true we call that being a false prophet.

Ted tied his legacy to Glenn Beck.....that says it all

... What is really frightening is that this man is in the senate and attempted to run for POTUS. He is a manipulative-egomaniac. He needs to go live in a padded cell with no sharp objects except maybe a plastic mirror so he can give speeches to himself — to keep his deranged ego satiated. Go home Ted whichever country that may be — but not USA.

Cruz......boos.......you loose. If you can’t support your party during a Presidential election, especially when the opposition is so clearly evil, you are dead to me.

I believe Cruz’s performance actually helps Trump. Cruz is so disliked it will draw more people to Trump.

""The death blow to Cruz’s campaign was when he was endorsed by the establishment." "

I became a Trump supporter after I began following his rallies. I began to see why he was a successful businessman, and greatly appreciated his blunt analysis that America’s trade partners were screwing the USA because of USA’s incompetent “leaders.”

The nail in the coffin for me for Cruz was when Glenn started endorsing him. Note that Beck had years ago warned his Fx Noise viewers to leave the 17th Amendment alone. I knew then that Beck is a part of what is now politically known as the corrupt Washington cartel - following the money.

Yep, Wisconsin was when Cruz was done... the GOPe mobilized to give him WI and in that single act, he lost any credibility as an outsider who would fight for change.. that claim and storyline ended that day.... He could not claim it and have any credibility going forward.

He wasn’t going to win the thing either way, but that guaranteed the race was over, even though he won the battle.

Cruz may be a smart man, but he’s not very bright at times... Getting whole heartedly in bed with the establishment in a year where the electorate clearly was anti establishment ensured his campaign was over.

I wish I could go back and delete all of my FR posts, early on, that wanted this cat for POTUS. Thank God I never sent him a dime. I know someone who sent him (or his PAC) thousands of dollars, who would like to strangle him right about now.

He began to reveal himself to me, over time. The Iowa mailers, the shafting of Dr. Carson - while feigning innocence and blaming a major network! The cutthroat truly bad actors he surrounded himself with.

And his lies...oh his lies. Too many to mention. But ever the devoted Christian, you know.

Between him, Romney, and Beck they won over these gullible Utahans, who will believe literally anything their church people tell them. If they told them the earth was flat tomorrow, they would go along with it.

And the chicanery with the delegates in states that ALREADY VOTED. He didn’t exactly cover himself with glory, the holy man.

It is worth mentioning that DJT won this fair and square. There was never any hint of underhanded shenanigans. He simply took his thing directly to the people. And won.

The sheer jealousy of those vanquished is truly something to behold.

I guess the notion of taking your case to the people never occurred to them.

The death blow was when Cruz blamed Trump for the ‘rat/S0r0$ violins.

P.J. O’Rourke’s Pre-Rebuttal To Ted Cruz “Freedom Speech”:

“Freedom is not empowerment. Empowerment is what the Serbs have in Bosnia. Anybody can grab a gun and be empowered.

It’s not entitlement. An entitlement is what people on welfare get, and how free are they?
That’s not freedom, that’s dependency.

It’s not an endlessly expanding list of rights — the “right” to education, the “right” to food and housing.
Those aren’t rights, those are the rations of slavery — hay and a barn for human cattle.

There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please.
And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences.”

Clear evidence that the GOPe (including Ted, Lee, Will, Kristoll, Levin) would rather destroy this country than to save it. Traitors all.

Cruz lost because he thought he could win with high rhetoric and intellectual morality proving he’s not ready to fight fire with fire.

And when he found he couldn't win that way he went to "by any means necessary."

Mitt, Jeb, Hillary and Ted: “Vote your conscience.” Ted Cruz is keeping mighty fine “principled conservative” company there. LOL.
